University Interscholastic League Announces ll classes to perform at state contest

Louisville, KY (February 11, 2021) (University Interscholastic League State Open Class Marching Band Contest) – Today UIL announced that all classes are eligible to participate in the 2021 State Open Class Marching Band Contest.  Traditionally, classes alternate years, and that format will return in 2022.  

Marching Band Updates

Upon recommendation of the superintendents, state marching band 

championships will be held of all conferences this fall, and return to every other year’s rotation in 2022.  1A, 3A, 5A championships will be held on November 1,2,3 and 2A, 4A, 6A championships will be held on November 8,9,10.  The tentative schedule is available at UILtexas.org
